Writing is an Act of Love

Why do I love facilitating writing circles?

To live our lives in widening circles that reach out across the space between us. Nothing exhilarates like a voice growing grit, willing to risk recklessness in pursuit of wholeness. To develop your writing muscle is to become more certain of yourself, more comfortable taking up room, more dazzled by your own possibility.

Everything is included: the public self, the private self, and especially the secret self. It is where these selves bump up against each other that generates the most compelling writing. Trust me when I say writing circles are the best kind of medicine.

Consider adding a writing circle component to your next yoga or meditation retreat, team-building event, life-cycle gathering, blessing way or wilderness adventure.

Isn’t it time you come home to yourself?

Come write with me!

Discover the closeness of the wound to the gift.

Hold nothing back.

Hold everything as sacred.
